I think I am slowly getting the hang of this even though I posted two items I was't ready to post.

This month we are focusing on Chapter 1.
Like Kelcey said this first chapter is about Little Things Matter!
The little things you do every day, whether positive or negative, will determine the kind of life you will lead.

Sooo ... What was a little something you did the past week that showed the kind of life you want to lead....

I'll start, I had to remove a student from a class I teach at UK because his negative actions were starting to have a negative effect on the other students in my class. I hope it showed him my intolerance of disrespect and behavior and told the other students that I strive to make our classroom one where all people are are treated with respect and they will part of a positive atmosphere.

Soo... What was your little thing. ...

  1. I used to save EVERYTHING for the last minute. Since the start of Junior Year, however, I have stayed on top of things. I have finished projects 2 weeks prior to the deadline, finished papers the day they were assigned, and studied for exams such as the PSAT for up to two hours a day. Basically, I haven't procrastinated. The results have been great! I've been getting great grades on exams and I've been able to have a piece of mind. The wonders of not procrastinating.. :)

  3. Life can definitely be overwhelming at times, with school work, standardized tests, and all sorts of activities it's very easy to run out of time! I feel like I have just recently gotten everything under control and I feel a lot better about my upcoming junior year! I'm starting to think aboout college, and moving out in just over a year and half and it can be scary! So I hope to continue staying on top of things so I can ultimately be successful!

  4. Indeed, my life has recently been extremely overwhelming...however, thanks to the girls who thought up this wonderful idea, I discovered blogspot and created my own blog! It's my outlet, and my few minutes away from everything where I can just pour out what I have been thinking about and what I want to discuss. It doesn't really matter who listens, it's just the fact that I can put my thoughts onto the internet and use that to escape some of the pressures of everyday life.

  5. Overwhelming seems to be the theme of the [ENTIRE YEAR] blog! Today I definitely grabbed this GSP toro by the horns and finally started asking some teachers for letters of recommendation. I felt like superwoman. I am incredibly competitive and so I want my application to stand out as much as humanly possible. I went to a talk where the people who direct GSP gave us tips and he said that most people make less than 75 points on the application. I'm definitely shooting for a 99. I'd say 100...but nobody's perfect.
